Brandi Nicole Minter is a SF Bay Area native, dancer and teacher fulfilling her childhood dream of living a life on her terms centered around doing what she loves most: creating, socializing with friends and family, traveling, playing with her animals and being herself. Brandi has been dancing since age 5 and started teaching dance at 15. Now after 19 years of teaching is transitioning into her new found love of film making.

"I love stories and am a huge movie junkie. I love everything from old Hollywood films to Blockbuster hits and everything in between. Some of my favorites include: The Never Ending Story, Labyrinth, Harry Potter, and Alfred Hitchcock's, Rear Window. I'm hooked on Hulu and can Netflix and literally chill all day lol. If I'm not binging over a new original you can always catch me watching Friends, Family Guy, Frasier and more.

Growing up as an only child TV was my main source of entertainment. I often chose TV over playing outside with the neighborhood kids. There's nothing like connecting to a story and getting lost in a world you never knew existed. The only thing that tops it is getting lost in your imagination and creating a story on your own. As an adult it just donned on me to do something professionally around what I love the most...film. I'm constantly creating short stories and music videos in my head and think its best to put it into action."

After turning heads with her first concept video, Battlefield of the Mind featuring her friends Selena Brown and Jamie Schoening, she is now directing videos for other artists to help promote their brand, artistry, and story to the world. She is also the new 'in house' videographer for RAE Studios in San Francisco.

"One of my favorite parts of film making is taking an idea and turning it into a thought provoking concept video. Combining dance, music, and cinematography to spread awareness on mental health and other hush hush topics, is my favorite kind of art form.

As a kid I never saw myself working a 9-5 nor did I want to make a career out of teaching dance. So I asked myself where does my attention go the most and what am I interested in? What do I do all the time that's fun for me? My answers helped me start creating actions steps to build my life around my interests. The old cliche is so true: Find something you love to do and you'll never work a day in your life."
